The Lawrence Joint Parks and Recreation is composed of both the Lawrence Township and the Village of Lawrence, a group of volunteers who are endorsed by both governmental units. The first activity of the Committee was the review and updating of the Village’s Recreation Master Plan (link below). The ambitious plan includes activities in playground renovation and Village and Township Park developments.

 

The cornerstone of the five-year plan is first; to renovate the Village Park Playground, with future renovation plans of the basketball courts and replacement of the tennis courts with pickle-ball courts in the Village Park. All members of the community are invited to participate in recreation activities. For more information contact the Township office at 269-674-8833.

Meetings occur quarterly on the 3rd  Sunday of the month at 6:00 pm at the Village Hall (see Meetings Notice page exact dates in case of schedule conflicts).
