Join us Labor Day Weekend for the Ox Roast and Homecoming Festival !!
Held in our picturesque Village Park, Lawrence’s signature annual event is fun for the whole family. All weekend there will be: various booths to explore, food vendors, Lion’s Club will sponsor a Beer Tent, The Carnival, kids free train rides, kids games, and music performances at the Pavilion. Fun for all ages this Labor Day in Lawrence…See you there!
Saturday: At 8 am The Watermelon Run (5k/10k/15kWalk&Run) will start at The VBISD Conference Center. If you’re in the mood to shop, check out what local farmers and artisans have to offer this fall and enjoy the freshest produce at the Farmers’ Market in the park, held on Saturday till 1:00 pm. The 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament will take place on the basketball courts. Live bands will perform in the pavilion. There will be a lighted Truck Parade at dusk.
Sunday: There is a non denomination church service in the park, with kids Pedal Pull event in the afternoon. Music again at the Pavilion. There is also our Classic Car Show at 11:00 AM.
Monday: The Labor Day Parade at 11:00am followed up with music in the Pavilion. Check back for the entertainment schedule as it develops.

Interested in Becoming a Member of the Ox Roast ? Ox Roast members are vital to elect our Trustees (committee members) and Board (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer). See the following Ox Roast membership application registration form. Meetings are at 6pm at the Village Hall on the 3rd Thursday of the month, and every Thursday in August.
Elections are held at the October meeting.
