Police Information

The Village of Lawrence contracts its police services to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department. Under this contract, the County provides a full-time officer for Village police services.

Since 2019, Deputy Jason Erickson has served as the Village of Lawrence contract Deputy. Deputy Erickson can be reached at 269-674-3600 for non-emergencies, in an emergency please dial 911.

The 2019 contract (one-year)  is not to exceed $100,000.

The Van Buren County central dispatch can be reached at 269-657-3101 in non-emergencies, in an emergency, please always dial 911. Crime Stoppers can be reached at 800-342-7867. Silent Observer, a service of Van Buren County, can be reached at 269-343-2400.

MEETINGS NOTICE

Village of Lawrence Committee Meetings Posting
(Unless indicated otherwise, all meetings are held at the Village Hall)

As an effort to be proactive and protect those of us against the possibility of contracting the symptoms or the actual COVID-19 virus, I am officially canceling all remaining committee meetings under the Village of Lawrence. At this time, this will be effective immediately and run through the month of March.
