Safe Routes 2 School

Safe Routes 2 School
The Village of Lawrence and Lawrence Public Schools are partnering to provide a safe route to school. Safe Routes 2 School is a national movement to make it safe, convenient and fun for children to bicycle and walk to school. When routes are safe, walking or biking to and from school is an easy way to get the regular physical activity children need to succeed. Some of the goals for this project are to improve Street Lighting, Sidewalks, Bike Paths and Safety along the routes to school.
The Safe Routes 2 School Team welcomes your comments, observations and participation. The purposes of Safe Routes to School programs are: To enable and encourage children, including those with disabilities, to walk and bicycle to school;
