Administrative Assistant, Village of Lawrence. Full-time position M-F, occasional evening meeting. Ideal candidate is customer focused, can multi-task comfortably, has AP/AR experience, and has expertise in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and BS&A (AP/AR/Payroll). Responsibilities include general office tasks (phones, mail, supplies, calendars, correspondence, and records management), customer relations (residents, staff, Village Council/Committees), bookkeeping (BS&A), all aspects of utility billing and serve as member of the Administrative Committee. MI TRAIN Registration Instructions-Course Specific – Tornado Awareness

This is an awareness level course for a wide audience. Tornadoes

can strike anywhere within the United States, consequently every

community needs to be ready for hazards associated with them. This

course will fulfill the goals of the “whole community” approach to

emergency management, with participants consisting of members

from all sectors of the community. Multiple core capabilities will

be addressed, with particular emphasis on “public information and

warning” and “threats and hazard identification.” Participants who

represent different sectors such as mass care services, health and

social services, operational communications, critical transportation,

and planning would further expand the reach of this course to other

corresponding core capabilities.


This course is targeted for a broad cross section of

professionals involved in emergency management, fire

services, local and/ or state government officials, planners,

developers, business and education.
